Notes and Information
The 2015 High School Final competition is a pilot event through the U.S. Figure Skating Program Development Committee. High School skating encourages student-athletes to continue to compete in figure skating through their high school years. Further, it provides them an opportunity to compete in their sport on a recognized team for their school.
Teams will consist of at least two skaters and must be registered as a U.S. Figure Skating School Affiliated Club (SAC). Begin forming your High School team now and get started on registering your team with U.S. Figure Skating! Refer to usfigureskating.org, click on the programs tab and visit the Resources Box on the High School Programs page for more information on forming a team.
This competition is hosted by the Member Club and sanctioned by US Figure Skating (SR 3.09 and SR 4.00). All coaches must be in compliance with Rule 1310, MR 5.11, MR 5.12, MR 5.13 or they will not be allowed to coach athletes, nor have contact, either directly or indirectly, at a venue for practice and/or at US Figure Skating events (US Figure Skating tests, competitions, performance activities, club ice, and workshops).
